Following his achievements in the Ghanaian music industry, Frank Agbeshie Lawstand, known popularly in the music scene as Agbeshie, believes he stands the chance of winning three awards at this year’s edition of Ghana Music Awards (GMA) UK.
The Volta Region-born ‘Wrowroho’ hitmaker has been nominated in three categories‒ hiplife artiste of the year, hiplife song of the year and best collaboration of the year.
He told BEATWAVES in an interview yesterday that he deserves recognition because of his achievements over the years and the number hit of songs he has to his credit.
Agbeshie said his songssuch as ‘Wrowroho, ‘Dem Lost, ‘My Lady’, ‘PDS’, among others,are known everywhere.
The artiste, who sings in Ewe, Twi and English, claimed he has done enough as a hiplife artiste and deserves to be named the best hiplife artiste of the year, best hiplife song of the year and best collaboration of the year at this year’s awards ceremony.
He urged all his fans to vote for him to enable him to win all the five awards he has been nominated for.
In 2018, Agbeshie won the artiste of the year award at the maiden edition of the Volta Music Awards.
He has also worked with a number of celebrated Ghanaian hiplife and dancehall artistes like Medikal, Stonebwoy and a host of others.
